This pretty plot in the delightfully named village of Inkpen was once home to a less than beautiful bungalow which was completely demolished to make way for an elegant five bedroom, three bathroom house with a secluded wrap around garden and separate double garage. The exterior of the property was designed with traditional, vernacular touches like the tile hung rear of the house and the finely crafted corbel detail of the bricks, while the interior was designed for stylish modern living. Handmade double glazed, timber windows and underfloor heating make it an extremely efficient, economical and warm house to run. We designed a handmade and painted kitchen complete with EverHot cooker with a utility room fitted with bespoke joinery including a laundry chute connected to a hatch upstairs. Oak flooring, muted paint colours and high end bathrooms throughout made this a beautifully appointed family home for the client.
